Family Trip in Pinzolo

Discovering amazing nature with Dante

Some days ago, me and Sandra decided to bring our newborn son, Dante, on his first day trip. We choose the enchanting town of Pinzolo, nestled in the picturesque landscape of Italy.

We started the day early to enjoy the mountain and we were conscious that Dante needed some time off the car in our 2 hour trip. After reaching Pinzolo, we ventured into Parco Pineta, a heaven of tranquility nestled amidst the majestic Italian Alps. The air was fresh with the scent of pine trees, and the vibrant hues of greenery painted a picturesque backdrop for our family adventure. Parco Pineta offers an extensive network of walking trails, allowing visitors of all ages to explore its treasures at their own pace: there's also a skate park, some basketball fields and some public bathrooms.

There's not so much to say about it, but just being there it's an incredible experience: trust me.

Eager to continue our summer adventure, we set off towards Cascate Nardis, a captivating waterfall located just a short drive from Pinzolo. As we approached the cascades, the sound of rushing water grew louder, creating a symphony of nature's melody. Cascate Nardis unfolded before us, revealing a breathtaking display of beauty and power. The cascading waters of the Nardis Creek tumbled down the rugged cliffs, glistening under the summer sun. We stood in awe as the sunlight danced upon the cascades, creating a mesmerizing play of sparkles. The cool mist enveloped us as we approached the waterfall, offering a refreshing embrace on this warm summer day.

We stopped in front of it to take some photos but as you can see, Dante wasn't so happy about it. So we take a deep breath and left this marvellous place for good. Pinzolo, with its idyllic blend of natural wonders and family-friendly attractions, proved to be the perfect destination for our summer escapade.

After a "delightful" day, the drive back home was filled with screaming and pooping from Dante and some car sickness from Sandra. But as spartans says "no retreat, no surrender"; let's finger-cross for the next adventure.
